In December of 2001, a little movie premiered across the world
called Lord of the Rings.  I had been sewing for several years
prior, but never seriously.  Ngila Dickson's incredible designs
changed that.  I was inspired and soon found many other people
were as well.  Thus began the slippery slope into the world of
costuming.  Once you start down that road, there's no turning
back.  Really, though, who wants to?

From there, I branched into formal and mundane clothing,
searching for ideas that would give an extra special flare.
Everything is my inspiration, from history to things only
possible in the imagination.

Almost all of my work is done by commission.  On occasion,
I'll play with a pattern and offer the result for sale.  What I
show here are things I've created.  If you see something you
like, email me.  The prices I give are estimates on what that
particular outfit would cost.  Differences in fabric and design
can make it go either higher or lower.  Options are not limited
on what you see here.  If it's made of fabric, I'm willing to
consider it, either recreations, historical, or originals.

Just drop me a line with a few images attached and your
preferred deadline and we'll go from there.
The obligatory disclaimer.  Photos from Star Wars belong to LucasFilm, photos from Lord of the Rings belong to New Line
Cinema.  I in no way claim these or any other pictures from other movies or the objects contained therein as my own.
I have striven to obtain permission before posting any photo here on Rivendell Designs, but should you find an image that
belongs to you and do not wish it to be there, please
email me.
