Shieldmaiden

This version is made in satin, with the corset and vest of faux suede.  The sleeves gather up and are tied (as you can see where it slipped down).  The vest and corset are two separate pieces with trim on each.  The corset is quilted and is non-supporting, i.e. not boned with steel. In a pattern size 12, this dress, in similar fabrics, would cost $200.  There are some alterations I would make to be more comfortable wearing, such as making the dress in one piece rather than a shirt and skirt.  Different fabrics and trim would, of course, make the price increase.
